Lahore: 2 officers martyred in the firing of robbers during the police encounter in Manga Mandi area, CCPO has ordered the immediate arrest of the accused.
According to the police officials, there was a police encounter in the Bhattis of Mangmundi Shamke area of ​​Lahore, in which ASI. Asim and Constable Shahid were injured by the robbers, who died during treatment at the hospital.
Police officials say that ASI Asim and Shahid stopped the two robbers who were carrying out the incident, then the robbers opened fire on the police party and escaped.
According to the officials, a heavy police force has reached the spot and the investigation into the incident and the arrest of the accused have started.
The robbers were engaged in robbing the citizens when the police arrived, the robbers saw ASI Mohammad Asim and Constable Mohammad Shahid and opened fire on them.
As a result of the firing, ASI Mohammad Asim was martyred on the spot while Constable Mohammad Shahid was seriously injured and was sent to the hospital for medical treatment.
Later, during the treatment, Constable Mohammad Shahid also succumbed and was martyred. CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mehmood Dogar immediately reached the spot and ordered the immediate arrest of the robbers involved in the shooting.
