Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja has congratulated the England team on winning the Pindi Test.
Addressing the ceremony held at the Prime Minister House, Chairman PCB praised the performance of the English team and described it as contrary to expectations.
He said that the England team’s performance in the Test match was contrary to expectations.
Chairman PCB said that the arrival of Brendon McCullum changed the approach of the England team and the credit of the English team’s victory goes to the coach.
He said that Pakistan team will compete strongly against England in Multan and new cricket will be seen in Multan.
Talking to the media after the match, national team captain Babar Azam said that he could not make any major contribution in the second innings, due to which there were difficulties in chasing the target.
He said that the bowling line-up of the national team consists of young players, while the injury of fast bowler Harris Rauf has also made a difference.
The national team captain said that we had very little chance to win the match, if the wickets had not fallen after the session, the result could have been different.
