This year more than 25 lakh 34 thousand people were tested for malaria and the highest 51 thousand 341 cases were reported in Thatta.
The health department says that 50 thousand 205 cases have been reported in Larkana, while 8 thousand 752 cases have been reported in all the districts of Karachi, the least 2 thousand 52 cases have been reported in Sanghar district.
According to the health department, 23 people have died due to malaria in the state, while Director General Health Dr Jamin Bahuto says that 30 people have died of malaria in Dadu district alone.
According to DG Health, there is no complete report of deaths, on the other hand there is fear of further increase in malaria and dengue cases in winter.
