Janat News: Ten day Silk India Exhibition started in Planetarium

Patna : The ten-day Silk India Exhibition was launched at the Planetarium of Patna on Friday by Silk India Art and Craft, an organization working for the weavers of rural areas of India. A large number of people are reaching this exhibition to see the art of silk weavers from all over the country. The weavers who came to the exhibition have shown their skills very well with their workmanship on silk. Exclusive handloom sarees from 13 states are the center of attraction for the customers in this exhibition.

silk india art and craft Managing Director Manas Acharya told that in this exhibition organized in the planetarium of Patna, silk of different states of India is being displayed, which is being liked very well by the people of Patna. Silk artisans from across the country have come up with their finest products in this exhibition. The exhibition includes a wide variety of silk sarees made by weavers from different regions of India. Here customers will find the best collection of famous silk sarees from different states which include Coimbatore Silk from Tamil Nadu, Kanjeevaram Silk from Karnataka, Banarasi Silk from Banaras, Bhagalpuri Cotton Silk from Bihar, Kalamkari from Andhra Pradesh, Kosa Silk from Chhattisgarh, Zari Paithani from Maharashtra Including UP, Gujarat, Kashmir etc. A select collection of nationally and internationally popular silk varieties from different provinces of the country are on display in this grand exhibition where each saree is unique and adorable in its own right. Keeping in view the summer and wedding season, the weavers in this exhibition have brought their exclusive collections to the customers. Along with sarees, many items of home decoration including stoles, dupatta, kurta, shirt, jewelery are available in this exhibition. This exhibition has been started from 17th June and will end on 26th June 2022. He said that this exhibition will be open for the customers from 10:30 am to 8:30 pm. Entry to this exhibition is free for customers. Also, all the facilities of online payment are available here.
