Two people, including a BJP rebel, have left the field for the post of mayor of Satna Municipal Corporation, while 47 candidates, who are candidates for the post of councilor, have also withdrawn their leaflets. Symbols have been allotted to the remaining candidates in the electoral fray.
BJP’s rebel and independent candidate Mansukhlal Patel and BSP’s dummy candidate Gendlal have withdrawn their nominations for the post of mayor of Satna Municipal Corporation.
Those presenting candidates for the post of councilor have also left the field after assessing their profits and losses. Kamlesh, Brijesh and Ramavatar Ahirwar from Ward 1, Surajkali from Ward 2, Abdul Latif, Deependra, Rajendra Kumar, Shiv Prasad Dwivedi and Santosh Kumar from Ward 3, Ganga from Ward 4, Sushma Rajendra Gupta from Ward 5 withdrew their names. . Pradeep Tamrakar also withdrew a form filled as a BJP candidate from Ward 7. Gulab from Ward 8, Usha Kiran Tiwari and Deepa from Ward 9, Rishabh Dev Chandel, Rajiv and Sangeeta from Ward 13, Geeta Vishwakarma from Ward 15 and Anita from Ward 17 have withdrawn their pamphlets.
Similarly, Vandana from Ward 18, Geeta Chaudhary and Rajkali from Ward 19, Saroj Singh from Ward 22, Sangeeta Chaudhary and Geeta Devi (BSP) from Ward 23, Gaya Prasad and Rahul Singh from Ward 26, Vinod Kumar from Ward 27, Brijendra Kumar from Ward 30, Kailash Singh from Ward 33, Nand Kishore, Rajkumari Yadav from Ward 34, Mo Hussain from 35 have withdrawn their nomination papers.
Alok Nayak, Anil Kumar from Ward 36 of Municipal Corporation Satna, Poonam and Asha from Ward 37, Waseem Ahmed from Ward 38, Malti from Ward 39, Chhotelal from Ward 40, Naureen, Ashok, Asha Chaudhary, Devendra Tiwari and Kalpesh from Ward 41 Girish Shah, Lakhanlal Verma has left the field from Ward 43. No one has drawn pamphlets from Ward 44 and 45.
